StudentsPledge News Dt 2nd May 2022 – One crore signature collection against NEP 2020 was inaugurated in Odisha today (2nd May 2022) at PANCHA SAKHA SAMADHI PITHA, (Satyabadi Bana Bidyalaya), Sakhigopal, Puri where Gopabandhu Das along with his four friends who had played vital roles in bringing Reformation in modern education and social transformationwere creamated.This panchasakha samadhi pitha was situated near the Bakula Banavidyala which was established by Gopabandhu Das in the year 1909 with an aim to produce freedom fighters and men with noble character.They were considered the Renaissance personalities of odisha.
The signature collection programme was jointly inaugurated by Professor Birendra Nayak, Eminent Educationist and president AISEC, Odisha and Dr Sudhanshu Sekhar Senapati, Eminent Pediatrician. Among others Chandidas Bhatacharya, who was long associated with save education movement of India, Dwarikanath Rath, Former Secretary, Gopabandhu birth centenary committee, Raghunath Das,Eminent Farmers’ Leader, Chhabi Mohanty, former president AIDSO, Odisha, Ganesh Tripathy state president AIDSO, Odisha and Subash Nayak, state secretary of Odisha among others were present.
