In a grief-stricken incident, Mahsa Amin, a 22-year-old Kurdish woman died while being held by the \u2018Guidance Patrol\u2019 in Tehran for violating the Islamic dress code. Her death has attracted strong ire and millions of Iranian women have opposed the Islamic law which makes the hijab compulsory for women. Authorities responded with a brutal crackdown and till now 31 protestors have laid down their lives in the movement. With a heavy heart, AIDSO expresses its condolences to the bereaved family members of Mahsa Amin and the sisters who have laid down their lives in the movement. This<br>heroic struggle is not a mere fight demanding the choice of wearing a cloth.
